'Vintage' 90's Desert Race Truck Project Vehicle AND 96 Chevy Suburban

This is definitely a project vehicle but is a good head start. Built in the 90's but has been sitting in my shop for the past 20 years. This comes with a 96 Chevy Suburban (clean title) that I was going to use to make it complete again. The Suburban runs. I had plans to pull the 454 engine, Turbo 400 Transmission, transfer case, front and rear axles off the Suburban and restore the race truck. Health issues set in and I had to come to the conclusion that it simply would never happen. The race truck itself was built from the ground up. Every part was pretty much hand fabricated. You can see in the photos that it still has the 1/4 elliptical rear leaf spring suspension, & custom-built headers / exhaust system. It was built to SCORE and HDRA specs. The body is a fiberglass CJ-8 Scrambler tub. The front body parts are just steel pieces I had from other Jeeps since I used the 1 pc. fiberglass tilt front end on another project. I built this as a 2 wheel drive rig but decided to modify it into a 4wd using the axles and transfer case from the Suburban. That's where the fabricating will need to be done. I'm including photos of it in its glory days just to give an idea of the potential it has. Once the Suburban has been parted out of the parts needed, it can certainly be used for other parts to be sold. There will be a lot of good parts left to sell. Since the race truck is totally custom, I'm using the specs from the Suburban to fill in the blanks below. You simply can't beat the price of $4000 for BOTH vehicles. Hope it finds a good home. Please don't make stupid offers like 'I'll send a Money Order and have it picked up by my carrier" or "What's you bottom price" etc. Everything you need to know is in the ad. Anyone is welcome to come look at it. If you want both vehicles, buy them, cash and haul them away. Really tire of scammers.
